Joining the Sterling Federal Bank Commercial Team in 2023, Gary’s 35-years banking and finance experience provides business owners assurance they will receive high-level guidance to help achieve strategic and financial goals. Businesses across many industries in the Northen Illinois and Rockford region have put his commercial, industrial and SBA lending skills to good use.
Gary earned his MBA from NIU, a Bachelor of Science in finance and business economics from SIU Carbondale and associate degree from Rock Valley College. A lifetime learner, he completed Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, earned the Advanced Lender Diploma from the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders, and continues education in business and leadership studies.
With a long history of community involvement, he is actively serving on the boards of Lifescape Community Services and The Mill Foundation. In his spare time, Gary enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family, reading and traveling.
